Clinical Hypnosis – The Rising Therapy
Share |

Hypnosis therapy, also known as hypnotherapy, is a common clinical procedure to treat patients or individuals with psychological disorders. This concept is fast breaking away from the unsupportive traditional norm attached to it due to the very nature of the technique. Since the therapy entails complete surrender of self control by the patient, it is common to see apprehension and doubt among people towards it. But it is a proven fact that hypnosis is a well-established and a systematic science that can bring about positive results among its patients.

Such a procedure is frequently used to free patients from habits like bedwetting, unhealthy addictions, and inappropriate behaviour and so on. It is also being increasingly used in the cure of depression, stress, unnatural phobias, post-surgical depression, haemophilia, gastro-intestinal disorders, skin and facial embarrassments, and several more serious cases.

Though hypnotherapy is proven to be highly useful and effective in controlling the patient’s senses, it must not be regarded as another form of psychotherapy. In fact, it is not a treatment by itself but a part of treatment procedures that require psychological responsiveness.
