Snoring has been found to be a major problem for people who have reached their adolescence. Elderly people continue to have this problem and the youth usually fall prey to it due to tension. Here are a few exercises for people to get rid of this problem.

It is always advisable never to sleep on your back as it poses as a big problem. If the breathing passage is blocked, there will be irregular passage of air causing vibrations. Various exercises such as breathing in and out are very important. Fifteen minutes of regular exercise is always important. Smoking is a big disadvantage as it doesn’t clear the throat causing the throat to be dry. If the person continuously has a throat infection it is advisable for him to take some medication to clear his throat otherwise his throat will pose as a hindrance and the passage in his throat will not be clear, resulting in snoring. A brief jog in the morning also helps in clearing the nasal cavity.

The posture for sleeping is also extremely important as it can pose a problem for a lot of people. Sleeping on your side is important. Using a hard pillow is much better than a soft one as a soft one will make a person twist his head to the side and start snoring again.

Going to the gym regularly and a good lifestyle is also important to control snoring. One of the recent researches have shown that chewing gum helps in reducing snoring.
