Step1: You need to put a few pillows at the back of your head so that your head is elevated. This will stop blocking the passageway in your throat. When you have fewer pillows or the pillows are low, your tongue will roll back mostly blocking the passageway and limiting the air.
Step2: You are expected to use harder pillows as it is better than softer ones. Your throat will be allowed to be smooth which will again give way to the opening of the passage way.
Step3: If you are married, convince your husband /wife to sleep on her side. Tell him or her not to sleep on his/her back.
Step4: You should try losing weight. If you put on weight your throat becomes bigger causing the passageway to become narrow as the fatty tissue increases it.
Step5: Try your best to avoid alcohol and sleeping pills. These will relax the muscles in the throat and closes the passageway.
